School owned instruments that are assigned to students should be treated with the same care as personal instruments.
Throughout the year, the students that play these instruments are responsible for their maintenance, including a maintenance fee for the use of these instruments. The instruments (and parts necessary for the instrument) will be given to the student in playing condition, therefore should be returned as such. Any damage done to the instrument or instrument pieces will be paid for by the student and his/her parent/guardian.
Percussionists will need to purchase their own sticks or mallets.
Wind players will furnish their own mouthpieces and reeds.
Use of school instruments are a privilege, which can be revoked at anytime throughout the year if proper care is not maintained.
Each person is responsible for the checking out or returning his/her own uniform.
Do not ask or agree to check out or return another student's uniform without special permission from the Director.
Upon returning uniforms, be sure to remove any personal items or trash from uniform pockets, bags, and/or boxes.
If repairs are needed to your uniform. locate the correct form and describe what is needed. Once done, submit the form to uniform personnel.
Be sure the uniform is properly placed on a hanger when returning. If not, the uniform will not be accepted until correction.
DO NOT enter the uniform room unless you are a uniform officer.
