Volunteers are needed!

Bus chaperones are required whenever the band travels. Their job is to ensure band members are accounted for before arrival and departure to or from any activity the bands partake in. Bus chaperones must also be available for any emergency that may arise. As a bonus, bus chaperones may enter the events for free!

Concession stand volunteers are required at home football games. Their job is to arrive early for set up and stay for clean up. Jobs in the concession stand include taking orders, cashiering, preparing orders, and stocking. Along with getting into games for free, concession stand volunteers get to see their child perform in the half-time performance.

Stadium crew volunteers are required for football games  and competitions. Their job is to help move equipment and heavier instruments to the field for the half-time performances and competitions. They make sure band members are accounted for in the stadium, watch over instruments during breaks, escort members when needed, and are available for any emergency that may come. Stadium crews also get a free entry for events!

Band trailer transporters pull the band trailer to and from events that require travel.

Parade chaperones are required for marching band parades. Their job is to march alongside band member in the parade and assist bad members in emergencies or as needed. Parades include the Football Snake Walk, Headland and Abbeville Homecoming and Christmas parades, and The National Peanut Festival parade.

Food trailer volunteers are required for food trailer events by providing aspects of assigned food trailer duties. Volunteers are needed for times such as The National Peanut Festival and Headland Harvest Festival. 

Band Boosters offer opportunities throughout the year for parents and band members to volunteer. Fundraisers offer options for band members to earn money for their band accounts and the Band Boosters.
